10 years ago, Subway was one of the few stores selling subs. Now, food is every where. I have turned over the stores to my wife and looking for a new exciting job.

This is by far less stressful and has better tips than any job but I wish the pay was better. $12 an hour in today's economy is not livable. You do get a free 6" sub every 6 hours for work.

This job not only teachers the worker how to handle the work environment without being too overly stressful. The work is never too stressful or busy. The tasks required are easy, but still make you feel accomplished. I'd recommend a closing shift if possible.

Love the brand and concept of Subway, just have to fine a franchise that values their employees.Subway needs to reevaluate the protein amount they allow for half of the sandwiches. How the turkey and ham is prepped for the bane is to time consuming.
Subway Sandwich Artist/Cashier/Shift Lead in Horizon City, TX

the job itself isn't difficult but there is zero consideration for morning shift and they over schedule people for night shift. morning shift gets overworked for the amount of pay that you get. you get zero lunch breaks and zero discounts. you can work a 9-10 hr shift and not have a single break in between.
