I went in for an interview because my friend told her manager about me. It was very quick. The manger asked me 2 questions tell me about yourself and why I chose subway. Then she said she would give me a chance.
My friend recommended me for the position. I went in, filled out an application, took a simple math test, and got the job.

I applied through Indeed and then got an email through asking if I was able to make a certain time at the store

Applied online, scheduled an interview, went to interview, got hired on the spot.
Applied online on a Saturday, got a text from the manager who asked questions. I was told to come in for an interview. I am not yet sure if I got the job as interview is tomorrow. She did say to bring drivers/state ID alongside social security card if all goes well.
They were quick to give me a call after I applied online and set me up with my first interview right away, being flexible with my schedule too. They had a second interview as well which occurred the day after my first, so they showed an eager willingness to hire me that I haven't felt from other places.
I applied on the corporate site, and the owner of the store called me.
