The most useful review selected by IndeedGreat place to work. Good for wanting entry level experience into counseling. Management was kind and compassionate. Unless you are in school to become a psychologist, this is not the job for you. Not much growth only office positions are available

Rewarding mentally and emotionally, but not financially.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASST (Former Employee) - Johns Creek, GA - May 13, 2018
This is a fast paced environment where communication and a positive attitude is a must! It can definitely be chaotic, but you are part of a bigger picture that has a positive impact on the community. The downside is the pay is not great, the hours are worse (as in, you won't get that many unless someone falls ill because they don't like the idea of having to offer full time benefits) and there is no room for advancement or a pay raise. Breaks will be 30 min for 6-7 hour shifts. Bring your lunch and be sure to label it, you won't have time to go anywhere (traffic) and you won't make enough to have anything delivered regularly. You will have some co-workers that are amazing and some that know it all or think you know nothing, but I think that is a personal thing that you will have to deal with at any job. It is definitely better if you live close by and probably best fit for someone who has another means of income and only needs a few hours a week. As a whole I would recommend this job for not only the eye opening/heart warming experience, but also the people you get to meet and the culture you get to be a part of, just be prepared for the crazy days and slim paycheck.
Pros
Love the culture- it's to be part ofsomething that you know makes a difference.
Cons
No room for advancement or full-time

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Former Employee) - Roswell, GA - December 19, 2017
Great place to work! Staff are super supportive and very welcoming. Staff also care deeply about their clients and even have a sliding scale to accommodate clients who otherwise could not afford treatment. Can't say enough good things about working here!
