Struggling Company needs to find feet
Account Executive (Former Employee) –  Redwood City, CAApril 15, 2019
Sumo Logic has an interesting product, but essentially the main competitor defines the market and they are constantly having to pivot to stay relevant. Make sure you get the right territory if you are in sales.
Pros
Free lunch
Cons
Management is hit or miss

Cloud company is seeking to change how machine data is used to better the entire organization though advanced data analytics. Humble learning culture.

Productive and fun work place with arcade games and a mini bar.
Finance/Legal Intern (Former Employee) –  Redwood City, CAJuly 31, 2018
A typical day at work is a little like the show The Office. There's plenty time for work, but there's definitely time left for some play. Every week there was some type of event going on for everyone to enjoy in.
Pros
Free Lunches, Diverse work environment

Phenomenal culture, sky's the limit
Sales Executive (Current Employee) –  CaliforniaMarch 11, 2018
Sumo is an incredible place to work. Leaders are awesome, starting with the CEO. Super positive culture, very values-driven to be open, collaborative, respectful, fun. Dogs at the Redwood City HQ create an even warmer, family-type environment. Leaders truly care about the success of each individual, high focus on career development and advancement, and they drive practices that allow flexibility and work/life balance. Free lunches, casual work areas, unlimited PTO, no micro-management but tons of support.
Pros
Company is on a fast trajectory in a hot market. Great culture, leadership, benefits, perks
Cons
Sometimes decisions take longer than desired. Priorities shift a bit more than desired, but that's also part of being a fast-paced company.
