Needs work but enjoyable place work at
My previous job was really terrible so this job seems amazing to me right now. If you're used to working in a fast-paced environment (hospital), then this place seems to be moving really slow. Working with mentally ill patients has its own set of challenges, but it is not by any means overwhelming. They've had a lot changes recently: the building itself is fairly new, new management, lots of new staff, new EMR system. The benefits could be a bit better. However, they pay very well. The work culture can be a little "rough around the edges", but that's kind of what makes working with them such a relief. The staff are incredibly down-to-earth and love helping people who have serious problems.
