Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Summerlin, NV – November 28, 2017
It's a very fun place that feels like a giant family. Not a lot of firing or write ups happen, which makes it nice not fearing for your job. One downside is everything constantly stays the same, they're great ideas floating around and management doesn't do much about them. Another is management not doing anything about the people who sit in the back and talk 24/7 or have to call out sick every week.
Free lunch on Sunday, Relaxed environment, Coworkers
Kennel Assistant (Current Employee) – Las Vegas, NV – September 9, 2017
I have learned a wide variety of knowledge through Sun City Animal Hospital relating to wellness of pets to cleanliness of hospital. I adored the animals that came through the hospital and the bonds I created with each one. Although at times the job was stressful especially through dental season and holidays it became more relaxed throughout the other parts of the year. The small amount of people I worked with made the pay amount and long hours bearable. The hospital is a close knit family and has its ups and downs but always works as a team in the end.
Free lunches, steady schedule, a lot of hours for part time
Vet Assistant (Former Employee) – Sun City, AZ – October 24, 2013
I would help the vets by checking the weight and temp of the animal. I learned how to clip nails and how to file paper work. The management was great they were never mean. They were all so nice and very helpful. Putting down the animals who were suffering. Helping animals get better.
helping animals, getting experience for the future
Overnight Veterinary Technician (Former Employee) – las vegas nevada – July 10, 2013
I loved the doctors and the wonderful care they provide to them. However after giving them 3 years + of my time and employment they just left me hanging. The most enjoyable part of my job was the animals which is what made me stay so long. The hardest part of my job was the fact that they would NOT hire within to keep employees.
