great co-workers
RN (Former Employee) - Nashville, TN - April 15, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGreat place to work-lots of independence. Nice to go to work and work with others that have the same common goals. As all nursing jobs it can be very frustrating at times.

Unstable
Director (Current Employee) - Marlborough, MA - May 13, 2023
The company is being forced into many changes and they are dependent on 1 product. If that product doesn't get past Phase III then Sunovion will not exist anymore

Good overall compensation
Tech Specialist (Current Employee) - Remote - February 13, 2022
Good salary and benefits. Generally good, dedicated people to work with. Flexibility to work remotely and supported well with tech for remote work. Complicated processes to get work done. Very rigid policies.. not much thinking out of the box at higher levels to try out next things.

There were lay offs every 6 months and suddenly you were switched selling different Products. It’s the same wheel trying to reinvent itself.
Primary Care Specialist II (Former Employee) - Grand Rapids, MI - January 13, 2022
You learn but it is not a forever job. It’s a dying industry. Just tough to be in a position like this. It was great at one time but that was a long time ago.
Pros
None
Cons
Waiting by the phone for a phone call that you are done. No job stability.

Progressive company with a rich pipeline fitting my past work experience
Sr Medical Science Liaison (Former Employee) - New York, NY - September 14, 2020
MSL team was easy to work with, management was open to suggestions on how to progress with pipeline drugs. Most difficult part of position was gaining access to key accounts and HCPs due to close door policies.
Pros
Excellent benefits, salary, bonus
Cons
Attendance at multiple psychiatric meetings which may not have been required

Amazing Culture
Nebulization Account Specialist (Former Employee) - Fayetteville, NC - April 16, 2020
Loved my manager, the people I worked with and my work/life balance. There was no micro-management, we were given ownership of our geographies and held accountable for our success.

Jobs at Sunovion
Small pharma company, they pay well and treat you like adults
Therapeutic Specialist Representative (Former Employee) - Central, IN - April 14, 2020
The product that I was selling could not sustain the sales force. I was downsized March 31, 2020.
I enjoyed working for Sunovion and would work there again.

Stay away . Not a company who cares about employees or patients
Are not patient centric and are satisfied raising the price of medication and serving 2% of approved patient with accurate diagnosis. HR could care less about employee in the field and are put off if call
Pros
Good medication to represent
Cons
Culture is poor . Do not care about employees or setting fair goals

Sunovion has a very serious history regarding its treatment of women.
Assistant General Counsel, Legal Affairs (Former Employee) - Fort Lee, NJ - January 12, 2020
Sunovion engages in explicit discrimination against women. Virtually no women are promoted. Most women executives are fired or pushed out of the company. They do not want women to speak up and criticize women who do. They tolerate and promote belligerent men and fire competent women.

Sunovion review
Therapeutic Sales Specialist (Current Employee) - Bakersfield, CA - January 9, 2020
Very competitive sales goals. Quarter after quarter growth is required. Market dynamics are changing and the company isn’t adjusting to them. Good place to work if your territory hasn’t produced much already.

Great pay but no advancement
Sr Sourcing Manager (Former Employee) - Marlborough, MA - December 11, 2019
The sourcing/procurement department is run poorly. There needs to be a change in leadership. The department is under staffed. There was less strategizing and more paper pushing than should occur.

Great Mission & Vision
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, COMMERCIAL (Current Employee) - Marlborough, MA - December 1, 2019
Patient-centric culture, leadership is open to innovation, new processes and ideas, great people and products. Only directors and above get an office. Far from Boston - commute can be a challenge. The hardest part of the job is no career advancement.

Neuroscience, Sr. Therapeutic Specialist (Former Employee) - Huntington, WV - November 17, 2019
You are solely responsible for your territory and must take ownership whether good or bad. Solo Territories, Relatively Large in size but manageable.

Small complany w/ Big pharma Feel
Specialty Pharmaceutical sales Territory Rep (Former Employee) - Boston, MA - October 5, 2019
It was a good company and competitive atmosphere to work for and have fun. A lot of micro management coming from the top. Could've been a great company to work for other than a few small things.
