Quantity over quality.
Ground Hand (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXDecember 2, 2019
The Dallas office is a joke. Management is completely clueless and frankly don't care if a job is done right, just that its done. Numbers numbers numbers. Electricians are worked like mules and not appreciated at all, installers are expected to do their job and then other peoples jobs. 65+ hour work weeks, don't let them lie to you, they do not value family life. If you're a sales person you'll love it. There is 1 person in management that will stick behind workers and has a brain but unfortunately he's not the main one. Some jobs are done great but that has everything to do with the people in the field having pride in there work, not management encouragement.

You. Are. Replaceable.
Worker (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXNovember 29, 2019
Trying to grow too fast. Not enough workers and not organized enough to do the job in a a normal work day. Your home life is gone upon working here. If you hate your family or don't have one you can thrive here. 7 days a week 6am till whenever management has decided to let you go home. No matter how hard you work or how long you work you will NEVER do enough work to deserve to rest or have a day off. If you work as an installer (the people that actually matter) you are mistreated, berated, and made to feel like garbage. They treat us like they have a line out the door of people ready to work with knowledge to continue the pace they are at now. But breaking points are coming close and once the good workers leave, what then? Maybe apply a few years down the road when they are more established

Fast Paced, Growing Org. with strong culture
Solar Energy Consultant (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXNovember 17, 2019
Fun. Fast paced. Lots of growth. Positive company that values success and caters to ambitious go getters. This is not a place for people who like to coast and slack off. I was at Dallas office for only a few months and only left because I had an opportunity presented that I couldn't refuse. Up until that point, I was certain I would never leave SunPro. The mgmt was very supportive of efforts to produce and generate business. Work life balance isn't too bad and they were very flexible with you in allowing you to work as much as you want and/or working with you to accommodate the life balance. Overall awesome company. Benefits are competitive, compensation competitive, mgmt. is cool and fun. Definitely has that family feel even though they are rapidly growing.
Cons: typical pains of high growth company, but on the flip side theres a lot of room for growth. lead quality is hit/miss, driving is brutal (5 - 10000+ miles a month), reps are expected to do a lot of back end work
This is the type of place where if you commit, are coachable, and do everything you can to succeed, you could very easily start grossing 10-15k per month consistently within a couple of months.

Friendly employees. If you stick with the business model, you will be successful. Company encourages work/life balance. Plenty of opportunities to move up.
