In the six years that I worked as a Coordinator, executive director position turned over five times. The regional management was constantly changing, and they were truly unsupportive of any concerns but I frontline team members. Their main concern was making money. The core values that Sunrise started with in 1981 ceased to exist in 2017. I would not recommend working for a company that puts money before the health and well being of the staff and the residents.

Stressful, after being employed for about a week to a month you start seeing different things in there and you're not sure if they're right or not so when you go to ask a care manager or a coordinator they make it seem like everything is okay it's just part of the job

It is presented as a friendly, caring, functional home for the elderly. In real life it is a high stress, underpaying, under appreciating, gossiping, mismanaged facility that takes advantage of its residents.
