Office Assistant
Office Assistant/Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Buffalo, NYAugust 14, 2016
I got this job through the work study program at my school. I absolutely loved my supervisors, the surrounding staff and my coworkers. I loved working hours that fit with my school schedule. They were very flexible with me. For example if I needed to go to the doctors they would let me come in anytime to make up hours. My hourly pay increased every January which was nice.
Pros
Flexibility, great working environment

Not a great place, employees are disgruntled
Clerk 1 (Current Employee) –  Buffalo, NYMarch 31, 2016
No advancement once you get in unless you are a minority.

This school is only hiring minorities and moving them thru the system.
Not a fair and equitable place to work. Can't wait until some lawyers and labor unions catch on!
Pros
Clean campus

A typical day at work involved great student interaction and encouragement and building upon previous learning skills. They become their own teacher here.
