Has some pros and contras
Software Test Engineer (Former Employee) –  PennsylvaniaJune 4, 2018
No typical days of work: tasks could come out of the blue. Learned company business, products and tools which have been in use. Mid level management could be better. Workplace culture is on average level. The hardest part of the job was the absence of the clear requirements for the projects implemented and no standards in the documentation. The most enjoyable part of the job was knowledge gaining from professional and knowledgeable coworkers.
Pros
Professional and knowledgeable coworkers. Good Gym on site.
Cons
Health Plans are not good. Mid level management could be better.

Good company but too much work
Software Developer (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMay 25, 2018
Only complaint I have: Too much work hours. I used to work upwards of 45 hours/week. I know a lot of people who worked more than 60 hours/week.

That said, coworkers are really smart and cool people, the work environment is somewhat laid back, the gym is dope, meals and snacks free. The company's doing great financially so everything's cool!
Pros
Free meals
Cons
no dedicated breaks for lunch

Fun workplace, but limited advancement
Enterprise Software Equity Research Associate (Current Employee) –  New York, NYMarch 28, 2018
The people are friendly and nice. Dress code is relaxed. However, hours are long and the advancement opportunities are not great. Plus, they underpay you compared to similar jobs at other firms.
Pros
Free lunch, relaxed dress code
Cons
Long work hours, limited career advancement

great group of people who are willing to help. There is a great open door policy so you are comfortable asking questions. Work life balance is great but also expect to work hard.

Systems Administrator/Project Management Team (Former Employee) –  Boston, MADecember 18, 2017
Amazing organizational culture and a great place to work. You won't find a better firm to be a part of. Many opportunities for advancement, open dialogue with management teams. Autonomy in individual roles. Only positives in my experience with the company.

Was a great place to work
Senior Systems Administrator /Project Management (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PASeptember 8, 2017
SIG was a great place to work. Cut edge technology, lots of money being spent on better the environment. They serve free breakfasts and lunches, beautiful spreads with salads, sandwiches, soups, all you can think of. Difficult to balance work and life, because work is so demanding, but people are great, you learn a lot, and enjoy your job.
Pros
great PTO, free breakfast and lunch, sponsored outings for families.
Cons
long work hours, weekends, holidays

Employee (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJune 4, 2017
Relatively flat company culture, which means access to senior management who are some of the smartest people in the industry. On the other hand, upward mobility is limited.

They make you feel at home
Enterprise Application Coordinator (Current Employee) –  PennsylvaniaMay 4, 2017
SIG is a place where you can learn almost anything. They are constantly changing trying new technologies and are constantly redesigning systems and software. It is a gold mine for the new comer and young employee. However, older people do not advance too often and over time SIG pays less and less and does not keep up with inflation. Therefore you are underpaid more and more the longer you stay. In other words, they favor the younger innovators.
Pros
Free lunches, game room, great gym
Cons
Healthcare is subpar, salaries are below competitiveness, poor management skills
