great place to work, able to develop close relationships with the families I worked with.
Independent RN Contractor (Current Employee) –  Chicagoland areaJune 12, 2015
I have a mixture of patients that are high-risk antepartum in need of home visits to monitor things like their BP, fetal monitoring, Tocos monitoring, blood glucose monitoring. Some of my patients have coagulation issues like SLE, antiphosphoIipid and anticardiolipid antibody syndromes in need of weekly PT and PTT blood draws. I also assist the parents and other caregivers how to properly care for their newborn(s) once stable and out of NICU and in the home. many of the babies are on Apnea monitors, O2, NG and G-tube feedings.
Ability to work independently and to continually improve on all of my nursing skills.
Work is very sporadic.
