Consulting General Manager in Atlanta, GA
on December 4, 2020
It is a really cool company on paper, who wouldn't want to work at the infamous SweetWater Brewing Co. They promote outdoors, being active, beer drinking and a ton of other cool stuff. But, it is very clicky, if you aren't part of the right click you can feel very isolated and made to feel like an outcast. There was not a hole lot of direction from upper management. There where also a lot of meetings entirely too many meetings. There were meetings about meetings. A lot of these meeting could have been emails. Overall it was a decent place to work, but wasn't nearly as cool once you started working there. It is shame because I can now no longer support a brand that I once loved.
Warehouse Worker in Repack
on March 3, 2021
The culture is what most people stay for but leave because management is very lacking. The work is not difficult but coworkers calling out constantly and management asking others to do tasks/ add more to their workflow with no compensation increase rarely work out. Overall morale is down and asking your employees to receive a pay decrease whereas others are getting promotions has definitely shown a side of sweetwater that I will not ever understand. If management actually abided by what they said they would do the company would flow better but instead it's incompetence and teeter-tottering ideas that never blossom.
Director of National Account's On-Premise in Home Office Ohio
on September 16, 2019
The company truly exercises quality assurance on a daily basis. Why the product sells so well and wins awards. A lot of companies preach it but SweetWater demands it daily. They are also a front runner in new innovation.
Cellarman/Brewer in Atlanta, GA
on January 3, 2019
This is one of the largest craft breweries in the nation, but basically runs with the minimum number of workers, Workers are good people, and the beer is good.
Bartender/Staff in Atlanta, GA

Fun place to work. Most people are in a good mood for obvious reasons. Atmosphere is relaxed but we are ready for business. Company pride flows heavily.
