I learnt quite a lot while in the company. However, there was not enough diversity in the company. Most of the workers were from India. The Contractors were treated as second class citizens.

Swift is a decent enough place to start a career in trucking. Like all "puppy mill" companies they definitely could train new drivers for longer. My dispatcher was super helpful and friendly.

Great first starter company to work for. No real issues here. My driver leaders have both been great, home time is never a problem. Only downside is that sometimes freight can be slow, but thats trucking.

Swift isn’t as bad as people make it, honestly just depends on the account that you’re on. Also making sure you’re okay with being watched and recorded every time you back at a truck stop

When I was there it wasn’t a bad place compared to many of the places I’ve worked at. When I was otr I just put in a home time request to what part of the county I wanted to go to and that’s where I ran pretty much. Just wish they payed more
