Where do I begin? Pay their driver's actual liveable wages and actually pay them for the miles they drive? Increase communication between load planners, dispatchers, drivers and customers so drivers aren't running impossible appointments and being stuck between management and customers on policy, whilst waiting a year to get ahold of anyone? Just for starters

Honestly can't think of a whole lot. I guess the fact that it's so stupidly easy to get your CDL with them? They teach you to drive a ten speed and stick you in an 8 typically. They're patient and pretty chill there. You get to see the country and are mostly left alone, but you can get that just about with any company

I guess Swift is flexible...ish. Depends what you want and what's available. If you have a terminal in your home city, it's more likely you can get on to be home every other week or so. But it seems most of their driver's are on one month, off four days. With enough advance notice, they can work with you. As for the daily hours themselves, it's pretty uniform from company to company. It all depends on your appointment. If you're pushing to get there on time, you may end up going from days to nights and back to days, or if you have some time to get there, you could drive six hours and lounge around for thirteen
