Ok place to work

Very repetitive and tough on the body and mental after a while. A lot of OT opportunities but you have to deal with the Michigan seasons outside. A lot of down time

Horrible

Don’t do it. Seriously people leave every week. You have no break. You work every single day. Management is the worst. If you are desperate to pay something off or you have to pay someone back this is a good job to get hired on and leave quickly.

Pros

Leaving the job

Cons

Getting hired on to that he!! hole!!!!

Wouldn’t do it again

Bad pay compared to work done, would only work here if I didn’t have a life. Managers will often call around 3am because they needed extra coverage, they would literally called until you answered and then get angry with you if you said no

Could be better

Do your best to avoid fueling for companies that take on passenger flights unless you want to worry about delays, equipment malfunctions, and poor management. If you happen to fuel cargo planes you are in good hands and have a sweet job.

They don’t care.

HR is a joke. If you need to ask a question about anything, nobody knows anything. They tell you to ask your supervisor who in turn tells you to ask HR. HR also gives a lot of attitude and treats you like you are doing something wrong by coming to them. Other than safety procedures there is no training if you are a passenger service agent. You are assigned to an airline and are just thrown out there. You are told to do something without being told how to complete the task. You basically have to figure it out for yourself unless you have a compassionate coworker who is willing to help. I worked there for months and never had a chance to even touch a computer. Part of the training was many weeks handling luggage in arrivals (in a skirt, suit jacket & heels; the required uniform). They advertised benefits for part time employees but when hired we were told NO benefits unless full time & there is no chance of full time. Other than my wonderful coworkers; it was a horrible experience!

Split shift and there is no any time table

Go to work at 4am leave around 8am or 10am than come back in the afternoon , not really recommended or be a full time employee if u looking for part time will be good work at the morning or afternoon than go to do other stuff

The work is not hard but the management was horrible

You do your job to the fullest and you don't get any recognition for what you do, also if someone doesn't like you and makes up some lame claims about you Corporate doesn't do the right kind of investigation and they fire you with no explanation, they only check one side of the story and go with it.

Pros

Easy work

Cons

Bad management

What is the best part of working at the company?Hybrid ModelWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?Seeing how unfair wages are handed out. Its "who you know" type of scenario, and it is bad. If you know the supervisor and hang out, you could receive a $3000 a year raise. If you beg for it because you deserve it, you get push back. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Too much of everything. There are some people who feel like they are the boss when they are not, but the true boss let them think that so you can get away to down nosing someone. Its awful. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Come to work, maybe get talked about. Then go home.

Mixed bag. Great coworkers.

Bad management. Easy work. UPS employees stay dickheads though for cargo. Good money cause of the international airport law to pay a livable min wage. But every company has to so work some other company.

Great place to work!

I enjoyed working as a ramp agent with this company. The 4 10 hour shifts and three day weekend was great, weekly pay, wasn't to strict just do your job and do it right and there were no issues. The pay could of been a bit better but it was around the industry normal at the time . I am upset there was a layoff when a new contract took over. The only cons complaints I had was at times some people made it a bit toxic and the pay could of been a bit higher at starting wage.

Ramp life

This company was all over the place when I was employed there. Structure was not there resulting in constant OT due to so many call outs. I am not sure how it is now, but I hope they have figured out a saver and structured way keeping employees.

Fun place to work but can be stressful

The job's self super fun if you like to work in a fast pace environment. As the passenger service, you will meet new people every day. I learned so much from the people I worked with. The airline I worked for is the nicest people. The hardest part is that you need to pay attention to the details because it is all about safety when you check in passengers.

Heavy work

Good pay but a lot of work and you have to work lot of hours overtime but if you need a job where you can make some decent money this it the place for you but prepare to do leavy lift.

Good starter Job

Needs improvement with benefits and weekly hours. Great pay lack of hours Need proper leads and managers that are respectful and team oriented . The most enjoyable part is the actual customers

Stressful, but well compensated.

Worked for a little over 2 and a half years and gain seriously valuable experience that I'll take with me for the rest of my career. My pay when hired was ~$10/hr and by the time I left it was ~$13.50/hr not including the premiums I would get from working certain flights which made me go to roughly ~$16/hr.WHile the pay is good, this happened during covid, so the addition of all the new procedures as well as the sever lack of workers made the workload fall on those who remained like myself and now my coworkers who I left a little under a year ago now.7/10
