Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 13, 2018
They are very favoritism. They have the people they like and they have the people they don't like. When somebody do something wrong they loss there job but the new person do it but more they will fire him and call him right back.

Management is something that needs to be worked on. The bad days are when it rains and its hot weather but time passes quick when you have fun employees around you

Passenger Service Agent (Current Employee) –  Miami, FLJuly 11, 2018
I learned nothing. A typical day at work is mindlessly hovering from one part of the airport to the other like a drone and performing mind numbingly painful tasks, while enduring insults from passengers.

Really enjoy the job as an Aircraft Fueler. Great learning experience, good benefits, fast paced working environment, fair raises every six months. Have a fair minded manager.

Passenger Service Agent (Current Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVJuly 9, 2018
Everything is intense but at the time it has to have an accuracy and it has to have a security in every flight. We have to take care of our procedures all the time.
Pros
benefits to flight free

good job for students
Passenger Service Agent (Former Employee) –  dulles vaJuly 9, 2018
Swissport is a good place to work if you are a student. They are flexible with hours, and they treat everyone the same. Starting Salary is $12 per hour. They have many positions open all the time, because airport is all year around open.

Passenger Service/Ramp Guard (Current Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVJuly 7, 2018
I learned alot about the airport. But management sucks. Workplace culture very chill. Hardest part of the job is unable to go home on time if there is delay or cancellation. Enjoyable part is if you like looking at airplanes its the best place to be to get close to them

Passenger Service Agent (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJuly 4, 2018
This company is horrible in a whole. Management is full of it all the way around. They don't appreciate good employees the ones who are willing to go above and beyond what they have to do to make the customer happy. Pay raises go to the big wigs and first thing they wanna do is we have employee appreciation day and feed you food with no other incentives. Do your research on this company .

Passenger Service Agent (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILJune 29, 2018
To me is very hard to understand, bcs I am coming from Europe, that ppl here are so stick together by race, language.. so at Swissport you can see polish group, latin group and Arabic group and Hindu group ( muslim groups) ... and if you are not part of those groups or you don’t speak one of those language - stay away of Swissport. Only gossping gossping all day... i feel sick of that!!!!!! Managment is other big issue at Swissport.. they don’t care about workers.. and if account menager doesn’t like you... he is going to make sure that you see that and he is going to do everything that you quite your job! Because of account menagers they are loosing to much ppl!
Cons
No breaks!!!

Swissport is a good place to work
Fueler (Current Employee) –  Baltimore County, MDJune 26, 2018
Overall, I’d like to say swissport is a pretty much a good place to work, paid break and decent amount of open shifts at disposal. They’ve got benefits too but basic, nothing really intriguing about it benefits.
Pros
Plenty of open shifts
Cons
Health care

a typical day that work is 4 hours. you help the airline with the check in , the gate or the arrival of the plane. it is very stress you have to work fast and do everything fast without make the flight delayed.i like my co workers but there are so managers that do nothing but just blame you if something goes wrong. overall this jobs is a good starting job i wouldn't recommend to staying this job for a long time because its a lot of work for little pay

Tanker Truck Driver (Aircraft Fueler) (Former Employee) –  Miami, FLJune 22, 2018
The company is run by people that doesn’t care about anything but doing money for the company. You’ll got no personal/family life (that means no holidays, no birthdays, no Christmas, nothing) you will be pushed around by uneducated managers and will be fired based on company needs. Be prepared to deal with all weather inclements and a rotating schedule based on seniority. Ohhh and almost forget, you need CDL but you’ll no drive a truck and your experience will not be observed by truck companies as you don’t drive on the road but inside the airport. In short word, stay away, they will make your life miserable. Just observe and note they hire every month cause everybody quit.

Hard work but plenty of overtime
Fueling Technician (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILJune 21, 2018
There is plenty of opportunity to get overtime but some days are very stressful because of scheduling, lack of communication, or breaks to get a decent meal. Work is outside in all kinds of weather conditions. They provide great uniforms to function in all weather conditions.
Pros
Work independently
Cons
Low pay, hard labor
