No room to move up, management would always make excuses about being short staff and not doing anything about it and whenever they do hire people would come around for a few days and then leave

Job filled with men who don't know what to do

Very unorganized saw a lot of injuries to employees the scheduling was awful everyday they would change the shifts with no warning or communication so many people did not show up which left job very understaffed and with no leadership.

Very productive and balance work

High stress but good people

I felt that for the most part my coworkers while i was there tended to be there for each other. Suprvisors I had varied from fine to awesome, but of course that's individual so there may be duds out there. There's opportunity for advancement, but you have to decide if it's worth it to you personally as the supervisor position has a lot more pressure and hours for not that much more money. Compared to the other staffing agencies at my airport, Swissport had the good computer system. I definitely enjoyed working here and I would probably go back, but that said it is a high stress environment and PSA's are sometimes expected to handle things that the client airline might not give us resources to do. Overall, I'd say Swissport is good but be careful what airline you're contracted under because it makes a big difference. (I worked here a couple years ago so this review may mot reflect quarantine conditions)

Overworked, Underpaid , and not Respected

I worked here for 2+ years and i would not recommend this job to anyone. Management was not organized at all and played favorites amongst the employees. It is not a diverse workplace, and it became uncomfortable to go into work after a while

Poor Management,Hr manager spreading fake stories. Before swissport is a good management but when they change the Hr people it get worst. I hope they open they’re eyes to remove this people.

Good for first job but no for long term

Poor management, some supervisors don't care about you, they hire you like a part time but all the time they change your schedule in the last hour for 8 hours. At the end, we don't have time for family, friends, nothing.

A lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags 25+ pounds to 70 at a time, work before covid was very busy and overwhelmed. Long breaks but when you work you WORK, it gets tiring.

Don't Expect To Be Heard

I worked here for a few months and it was a few months longer than I should have worked here. Management will not listen to you. "Supervisors" tend to be on their phone while the new heads work. It's a real shame because I met some amazing people here. Don't waste your time.
