This will depend on the client that SYKES is working with. The hours of operation are based on customer needs. You will need to contact the location you are interested in to ask about hours. In Morristown, TN we require all applicants to have open availability Monday-Friday 9:00am-9:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-6:00pm EST. We will not make any promises of an applicant being assigned a particular shift due to us going on business need. Our location the hours are five days a week 8 hour shifts. Day shift 9-5 will normally work every Saturday and have one day off during the week. These hours are based on the client we are currently working with and could change.

They promise you they will work with you on hours and days that you can work especially when it starts with the recruiter, Who Lies every other word, that's where the problem begins. The problem escalates when the trainer step in and spend more time talkin about their personal life then actually entering the systems teaching the systems answering important questions and explaining how the pay structure and metrics work. You are told it is a daytime position but then they surprise you with the day time position is based on Mountain Time and unfortunately there are no morning hours available so you need to be available from 1 p.m. in the afternoon to 1 a.m. in the evening. You get one day a week where are you have a favorable schedule then basically, especially if you're in the Eastern Standard Time, are working a night job, where there is no shift differential, and at any time if call volume is low you are asked to leave and you have no choice but to leave.
so be prepared to be available
