Administrative Assistant III (Current Employee) – Omaha, NE – January 17, 2018
The company is a good place to work for and a great group of employees to work for. Variuos shifts to work around different schedules. Good Management team. The most enjoyable part of the job is workng with all the employees. I would recommend Syngenta as a good place to work. Everyday is a learning experience.

Information Architect (Former Employee) – Bazel, Switzerland – January 8, 2018
Syngenta is a large agribusiness firm located throughout Europe. Most of the work that I did was focused on ontology development, design and implementation, an area that they were working extensively with. Overall, it was a positive experience.
Scientist (Former Employee) – Longmont, CO – December 11, 2017
My interaction with the larger company was always professional. There are many opportunities for ambitious people. Some of the challenges come from the "old guard", who have been in the same role for a long time. There was also a fair amount of politics among some of the local staff.
Many development opportunities.
Some of the local leadership have a real lack of vision.
Sales (Current Employee) – Minneapolis, MN – November 8, 2017
New CEO is making changes, but not fast enough in the USA, environment is stressful, cut throat and negativity seems rewarded. However the compensation and benefits are fantastic. Hardest part of job is understanding what is expected.
GREENHOUSE MANAGER (Former Employee) – Gilroy, CA – November 2, 2017
I think this company is having a shorted budget because they are in the process of acquisition for a bigger corporation The work environment is too heavy and the personal is in high pressure all the time
Pipefitter Maintenance/Construction (Former Employee) – St. Gabriel, LA – October 18, 2017
A typical day at work, packing boxes and filling them up with die through a machine. Then loading them up in rails until they are ready to be handled. I learned to drive a standup lift and how to change the battery to it. The management was really fair it stayed clean in the area. The worst part of the job was maybe the cold heat but its only normal. The enjoyable part of the job was learning.
Data Entry (Current Employee) – Saint Paul, MN – October 12, 2017
Very little opportunities for advancement. This lack of advancement has created a culture that is extremely cut-throat. Do your best to be connected with fellow co-workers, and remember to watch your back.
