T-Mobile FIELD MANAGER / WAR ROOM SPECIALIST Review
Project Coordinator
FIELD MANAGER / WAR ROOM SPECIALIST (Former Employee) - Minneapolis, KS - February 11, 2014
As a war room specialist I worked with as part of a two man team, which acted as the central repository for all information regarding the Minneapolis and Kansas City. This role served a key function in facilitating all of the markets daily scheduling/escalations/reporting and resolution center. The primary objective of the war room is to monitor and track the field engineer activities. This information was then transposed for ROI matrixes, quality analysis, and billing. The war room provided many secondary functions for each of the market, which included: deployment statistics, asset tracking, site access escalations, as well as material and resource deployment. The war room also functioned as liaison between the field engineer and remote support groups. This service reduced integration time by 20% thus increasing the overall possible daily integrations.
Pros
Made great money
Cons
away from home too much

T-Mobile tries to deliver a solid work life balance and does provide flexibility for most roles.
Field Operations Manager (Former Employee) - Frisco, TX - October 13, 2021
Aside from retail, the job flexibility is great. You can come and go as needed provide work is completed when required. For promotions, it is more about who you know rather than your abilities. As Sprint employees started to move into key roles there was a noticeable change to the culture. There was a massive focus on the results rather than the behavior that drove the results. I left and would not go back until they put the focus back on the customer and not on the money.
Pros
great service, decent benefits, education reimbursement and 401K matching as well as work life balance with a lot of PTO.
Cons
lacks diversity, good ol boy network, more about who you know versus quality and skill level
