Assistant Manager in Ashburn, VA

T Mobile is great place to work at. They are very flexible with scheduling and honor all types of availability. Days can range fro being really slow to really fast paced but you are always doing something. Whether it be making sales, calling customers about promotions, or changing out merchandise. A great working environment with a lot of opportunity to grow.

Extremely high expectations, almost forcing customers to buy products or switch from sprint. T-mobile trainings say one thing and management says another. Not good work life balance they expect you there everyday and any day off is an extreme inconvenience. PTO is almost non existent (zero COVID pay) due to commission structure since hourly is not good. You have to work enough to make enough commission to then take time off.

T-mobile is a great place to work, they have good benefits and a fantastic company culture. It is very relaxed but it is still a sales job so you need to make sure you're on top of your game to hit quotas. I have worked at 4 stores and across the board management has always been good, they respect the employees and are always easy to talk to. My only complaint with the job has nothing to do with the company itself, rather the customers as some can be very difficult.

What was once an amazing job, has gone downhill. Extremely toxic and company no longer cares about it's workers after the pandemic hit. We are highly understaffed and still goals and management are requiring us to perform like we are fully staffed.

This company lies through the teeth to you, my community was responsible for West LA and I was constantly being spoken to becuase I was not making sales to a bunch of poor people who it would be abundantly inappropriate to offer new services to. This company is going to out grow itself and collapse. They said it was our body, our choice when it came to the vaccine which they had no problem going back on just 2 months later citing " ongoing changes" well I'll tell you right now what happens with my body, and it being my choice never changed. This company is too liberal and inclusive for its own good, if you are conservative in any way you feel hated and like an outcast.
