There are basically 3 TEKsystems - what the contractors experience, that of the internal sales team and third is the internal service management team also known as Global Services. Anyone who thinks there is 1 culture for TEKsystems is incorrect and so you’ll see a lot of variation about the culture due to that. Those who work as contractors are typically more inclined to refer to work culture as that of the client site to which they are assigned. The sales team is typically a very young, ambitious work force who when there are social events drink to excess. It is a celebrated part of the TEK culture and an expectation. Then there is Global Services that typically has more seasoned IT professionals and managers who have more of a “been there done that” attitude and are more mature and settled in their career paths.

If you are a new IT graduate and don't have at least two years experience, they can't help you get a start in your field of work. And will close position the next day or two without letting you know or calling you about the status of the position.

Culture feels more like a cult. Poor management and horrible work life balance.

The work culture was lexmark and it was ok. I rarely had any contact with anyone from TEK systems.
