Patient Educator in Minnesota

Does not require nursing degree so the pay is lower than average. The onboarding process was not organized and could have been handled better for new hires
Certified Patient Trainer in Minneapolis, MN

I love this job, however the lack of work being so sporadic it makes it difficult to live you are guaranteed at least 15 min a day pay to check email. I don't like that you have to use your own personal cellphone for patient communication nor do you get any reimbursement for this. I also don't like that you have to wait 30 days to get your mileage reimbursement for your personal vehicle use and it's at the end of the month the following month.

Patient training department is new and growing. So far I’m enjoying my position. There’s a lot of training that was probably more for other departments so some training wasn’t necessary for this job
Parent Trainer in Texas

The company is flexible, however, still trying to ketchup from the pandemic shot down. To make a real living will need a decent amount of patience per week otherwise there’s no income coming through as you get paid only for the time spent while training patients. It’s a great career however when you work from home if you are not provided with any of the patient’s training the maximum amount of time paid per day is 15 minutes for checking your emails, they don’t provide you any minimum fixed income or contributions, therefore be prepared to have those 2 to 3 weeks without real income.

Great company to work for. Take excellent care of their employees and ample opportunities to make lots of money. Management very accommodating and listens to reps who have ideas.
