First I would make sure to have a good relationship with my staff. I would want them to feel like they can come to me with any issues. I would try to be as open as possible and not negative towards no ones issue. I would treat all employees the same, no special treatment cause of your title. Everyone is IMPORTANT! If you treat staff with respect then they will carry all that respect to the way they treat the customers!!
They abide and follow their own policies and procedures in upper management. To be honest and forthright about their products retail versus outlet. They really is a big difference in the quality.
