Center Medical Specialist/ RN (Current Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – February 9, 2014
Fast paced industry with growing customer base and manufacturing culture. Staff is trained proficiently, and is allowed to use own attitudes to treat customers unprofessionally. Management is encouraging to perform countless hours with little to no positive feedback other than once a year. Pay is competitive for other nursing positions. Nursing skills are decreased to counselling and assessment.
There is a wide variety of veins that come in through out the day. They are very welcoming to new donors however some just aren't good candidates for donating yet they are still let through the process
Registered Nurse (Former Employee) – Rockford, IL – March 20, 2018
I rated compensation fair because for paramedics, the compensation is great. Its higher than average than private ambulance services in the area. Pay for nurses is low. Lower than any hospital job. High turn over due to a revolving door of management. The benefits and health insurance are worth working here alone. You deal with the public all day. The hardest part is maintaining a smile in the face of adversity with management and cranky donors.
