Lots of hours, plenty of opportunity for money but no home life
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) - Dover, FL - June 4, 2021
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI’ve been working here for 7months now, when I first started i hardly understood spanish. Some of the supervisors (the ones i have at least) definitely will treat you different if you look mexican but don’t speak spanish. They like to yell at you if you don’t understand something instead of trying to explain it to you. You work 6 days a week, 10-11hr shifts. I hardly had time to cook dinner and relax when i got home before having to do it all over again. You can make money doing this job but if you dedicate your whole life to it, not worth it imo.
Pros
Hours, a little more money, and you can take advantage of break time
Cons
short breaks, impatient supervisors, low staffed

If you need overtime they have it! But no they overwork you
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) - Plant City, FL - August 24, 2023
They have plenty of over time. Expect to work 12-14 hours shifts on a daily (MANDANTORY) they over work you for little pay $13 an hour for hard work. No advancements no performance reviews for potential raises. Language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish. Favoritism within the company is very obvious! I do not recommend this company. I wish I had better things to say… Overall I rate this company one star.
Pros
Overtime
Cons
No work life balance, no raises

El ambiente de trabajo es siempre bajo presión,incluso si haces bien tu trabajo. Cuando haces tú trabajo lo mejor posible llegas a importunar
Quality Control (Former Employee) - Florida - July 11, 2023
Algunos jefes tratan mal a los empleados… Los horarios de break y lunch son dados cuando el jefe lo desea ,a veces hasta con 15 min de retraso

Great job opportunity
This was an experience that everyone should experience. If you don't have prior work experience or you need a first job experience this is definitely it. Every job has their pros and cons but I can definitely say this job has more pros than cons.

Management speaks no English whatsoever, they work you to the bone, wages not worth the pain you'll endure physically, schedule subject to change and inconsistent with no prior knowledge nor headsup.
Pros
A 5mins break & 30mins lunch
Cons
No advantages and management speaks no English whatsoever.

Purchasing Agent/Buyer - Warehouse Supervisor (Current Employee) - Dover, FL - May 8, 2020
A totally disorganized, misaligned and poor culture. Multiple levels of positions are interrelated. "Good Ole' Boys Club" Department Supervisors will verbally swear, threaten and almost to the point of physical interfere. Do not trust nobody.. you will be thrown under the bus just to make them look good.

Pallet Sacker/ Various Positions (Former Employee) - Plant City, FL - December 18, 2018
I learned a lot at Tampa Bay Fisheries. I am grateful for the opportunity Tampa Bay Fisheries gave me to help better myself as a worker and individual. I enjoyed the work and I was able to work a great number of hours to help support my family. Although the benefits and pay could have been better, I am still thankful for the experience.

The Durectorless Ship Beeare of the Titanic
Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Plant City, FL - July 31, 2018
7. The Directionless Ship
They have no clear plan for the future, employees don't know long-term goals, senior leadership fails to adequately communicate.
It is bad that bad with lack of a clear direction. It's inevitably going to hit the icebergs or big challenges over time and can become in danger of sinking it. Companies should be forthright about where they stand financially, where they see themselves going, and should be willing to talk about any major challenges. Good luck if you think your going to find a truth out of the CEO’s lips
The hiring team is unable to discuss openly what direction the company hoping to go, and that’s your first clue that they lack a plan for growth and that the foundation is shaky.
No matter how promising it may look to the you or how much buzz surrounds the company’s latest product, the value proposition and forecast are unclear, the company does not have a winning strategy.
They lost all hope when the former sales VP/President retired and the CEO brought in a leftover that lost his job from a big chain account.
We all know how the story ends and there really isn’t enough lifeboats for everybody, and you better believe that ships sinking
Pros
Learn to navigate in shark invested waters
Cons
Pay, advancement, moral, integrity

No Opinion
Institutional Sales Director/ Manager (Former Employee) - Dover, FL - August 28, 2017
I do not wish to comment on my tenure with this company. As a Christian, some things are better left unsaid. As it is written in proverbs, "Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues." (Proverbs 17:28). Although, I was successful from the World's standards...I was compensated well.
Pros
Great income
Cons
