Managers are a disgrace. Micromanagement, cronyism, manipulation, passive aggressive behavior. It is a teaching hospital and someone needs to school these tyrants. No recourse for employee, only retaliation and setting you up to fail. Borders on harassment and definitely a hostile work environment. I can only speak as to the management team I worked under.
