Flexible Fulfillment Team Member in Ashburn, VA

At first, i loved my job here at target which is flexbile fulfillment, i enjoy working with the team. The management doesn't know how to manage employees and are very rude. All they care about is themselves because they make better pay and numbers. Im thinking about leaving but I don't know if I should leave just because they don't treat us right.

They work with your schedule but you get very few hours, you can also work your way up from within, but unfortunately the store I worked at had a really bad favoritism problem and also was very high school like. Our LODs had to get transferred out to new stores to separate them because it was THAT bad.

It was fine, reasonable pay for what you're doing. Honestly most of my peers and even leaders were nice to work with. When I worked on campus I sat by many different peers and was always amazed how likeable the majority of the team was. The expectations from leadership was within reason and if there was room for improvement they took a gentle approach. The work itself at time could be stressful with ever-changing processes and many contacts that don't understand or care about the established process for handling various issues. Then there's work force management who is there to help reach service level goals, they have a job to do, which is understandable but sometimes comes at the expense of your sanity when dealing with difficult situations, as if you are working in ignorance to their request/demands. Aside from the stress you'll have your good days and feel satisfied. I think as far as contact centers go; you could do a lot worse than FMOC.

Work was fairly easy, pay was great, benefits if you work 32+ hrs on average (payroll keeps track for you). For the most part I enjoyed my job working in fulfillment- the Starbucks end wasn't my favorite place though.

I had an okay experience working at Target. It is a fast paced environment and you learn a lot about the store. My team leaders weren’t understanding of a lot of my situations But you do meet some really nice people.

Tell us about a time you and a coworker disagreed on something and what was the outcome

Shared on October 13, 2020

I interviewed for Guest Advocate (cashier/guest services/self checkout). They asked "Tell me about a project or task that you had a deadline for. How did you ensure you completed it on time?", "Tell me about a time a guest/customer was upset and how did you resolve it?", "Have you had a conflict woth someone or time that you disagreed with another person's views. How did you handle that?" If you don't have prior customer service experience, you can explain how you would plan to approach those situations or talk about a personal experience that is similar.
