Red/maroon shirt & khaki pants. weekends, blue jeans (no ripped jeans).
I worked for target during the holiday season, and all people that work in the inside the store stocking or checking customers out wear tan long pants but if you collect shopping carts they can wear tan shorts, also once while I was there we got to wear jeans for a few days
Each store is a little different. We get to wear any red shirt as long as it is not offensive, political, or gang related. We can wear logos of things we sell (ie: DC or Marvel), many coworkers wear spiderman or Flash t-shirst. The colour can be any shade of red as long as it is not too pink or not too purple. We can wear graphic tees, as long as we have something red over them, like a cardigan or zip up hoodie. Any shade of tan or beige is ok for pants, just not jeans. We are allowed to wear any shade blue jeans on the weekend. I am not sure about shorts, I have yet to ask HR about that for my store. Any closed-toe shoe is acceptable, including flats or slip ons. However, it is recomended you wear thicker shoes, like sneakers, if you work in backroom. They can be any colour or style, just not offensive, political, or gang related.
A red shirt and khakis is the appropriate dress code.
