What can I say that hasn’t already been addressed? Besides actually sticking to the availability of an employee and not scheduling them OUTSIDE that availability. Management also needs to stop being so tight knit so that if you actually complain about a TL or manager you don’t get retaliation against you and something actually gets done.
Get rid of the loss prevention manager because everyone that works for him leaves.
Be nicer to your employees. Listen to them when they have an issue. Managers seem to only care about the work loads getting done and don’t give us the right resources to do so. Give us more hours to get things done and don’t expect things to be done when you cut hours in half. Give people set schedules so that if they do have low hours, they can at least find a second job.
It’s too hard to find something else when your schedule is all over the place. Just do better.
These complaints definitely sound like they are coming from the Sherman Tx store. Sounds like managers need to be fired. That store cannot keep people there , because of poor management.
Talk with the associates in confidence! To see what is going on with the associate. If they have a problem try to fix it, but if the problem keeps happening then maybe transfer 1 of the associates or find out if that complaint is true then fire the person !!
Need to have someone from corporate go on under cover boss and get the true feelings of the associates. Who wants to address how they feel to their boss in fear of the boss making life very hard on the associate to the point they quit. Like I did! The policy of open door you can tell someone , but end result the person who made the complaint will end up leaving life will get very rough on the associate due to the unhappy person who made the complaint especially if you complain about the manager.
Not a good place to work. I left after nine months. Short handed workers around Christmas. They kept telling me they have hired someone to help, but that was a lie. They take advantage of the hard workers, and the ones that are willing to work over. The manager belittles the coworkers. Who wants to work for a jerk like that ? Not me!
Get rid of the payroll bonus that the store director gets. They get enough money already and that metric consumes them and they cut hours everywhere. Just get rid of executive bonuses all together.
Hire managers who are willing to work with their emplyees and help them grow. Not have a manager who micro manages you , disrespects you, and a manager that you can't address a his because they will take it personal and make life very difficult for you and make you quit.
Don’t use the walkies to reprimand a team member. Shoppers in hearing range can hear what you are saying.
