I actually don't know, at the time I just applied for the job and a couple of months later they called me in to interview then they made me take a drug test and then hired me after that. Nobody said anything to me about a background check. Although I'm pretty sure they did do one on me. If something bad shows up in the background check they may not say anything to you. In that case they may simply decide not to hire you depending on the nature of that "bad item".

No you don't , you just have to talk to your manager . i started full time it was from 5pm to closing, but i changed to part time and worked from 8am-1pm from tuesday - friday
