Flexible Fulfillment Team Member in Ashburn, VA

it is an ok job
At first, i loved my job here at target which is flexbile fulfillment, i enjoy working with the team. The management doesn't know how to manage employees and are very rude. All they care about is themselves because they make better pay and numbers. Im thinking about leaving but I don't know if I should leave just because they don't treat us right.

The goal of each shift is known and focused on from start to finish and all those working are expected to aid in completing the goal of their department. With that said it’s not hard to socialize with coworkers while getting the job done and making progress while at the same time maintaining healthy workplace conversations.

I was hired as seasonal. Even though I was new, I got constant calls to cover someone's shift. I felt like I was on call. Someone missed a shift? I was called. It wasn't bad. I loved working there. But it always felt short staffed.
Operations Manager in Tifton, GA

Culture issue in current building. Employees mandatory overtime and sometimes double overtime has caused morale issues in building. Changes that are made never stick. Expectations for 1 manager are realistically for 3 people. Sometimes no sense of direction with conflicting views from leadership.

Love target. Great place to start and grow. Been here since 2020 and is currently still here. Hope to move up as a manager or someone in corporate. Team target!

Interview Questions

Tell us about a time you and a coworker disagreed on something and what was the outcome

Shared on October 13, 2020

I interviewed for Guest Advocate (cashier/guest services/self checkout). They asked "Tell me about a project or task that you had a deadline for. How did you ensure you completed it on time?", "Tell me about a time a guest/customer was upset and how did you resolve it?", "Have you had a conflict woth someone or time that you disagreed with another person's views. How did you handle that?" If you don't have prior customer service experience, you can explain how you would plan to approach those situations or talk about a personal experience that is similar.
