For as much money as there restaurant does make, we as employees do not get paid fairly. Not to mention we work in crazy work conditions, such as managers who cannot even handle themselves, yet they are "managing" a restaurant. you do a lot and you get little to no recognition, and the pay is non livable.

Tarry Lodge was one of the better experiences I've had in my years in the industry. While the local management weren't too concerned with lateness or slacking, for the most part everyone pulled their weight and they made sure you were well trained on the menu and the wine. I learned a lot and made good money. One beef I had was that they took the credit card fee out of your tips, which while legal in CT, is ethically questionable.
