Great place to work
This place is awesome, the management is very well put together and always on point. I love working for them, I just wish that there was more work for me to do so that I can become full time.
Nurse Practitioner in Knoxville, TN
TeamHealth pays a very competitive salary, and they know it. They use it to their advantage and toy with you constantly. Very reactive company to patient volumes and ED changes. Schedule changes at the drop of a time and you are expected to accommodate to keep your job. Significant disregard for your time off or work balance life. Poor leadership that is mostly micromanaged from offsite directors. Very poor communication between leadership and clinicians. Good health benefits. Good CME access. Good EAP.

No Better Than Any Other Call Center In The Area
This company pushes on you from the start that they are family oriented and are there to support you and want to know what you're going through so they can help you. You're only upward mobility is as a team lead or manager. Most of the managers just seem to have a severe lack of empathy for any of their employees, especially for any health emergencies. If you do have any health emergencies or don't want to come into the big office due to COVID concerns you get to deal with the stress of losing your job. The job itself is mind numbing and just simple data entry. You start out around $13 an hour with incentives for working every weekend or later hours. The nurses are super kind and I enjoyed chatting with them through out the day but patients treat them and coordinators poorly. They will yell at you and think you work at the office and blame you for their lack of prescription being at the pharmacy and when you try to explain you are part of the after hours nurse triage services, they demand you page their doctor to get their prescription taken care of. If you need a job temporarily, go for it but don't look to stay here.

ok if you do not mind poor organization
loved my clients and my co workers. loved being in different facilities and meeting different people. I did not care for my manager because of her lack of organization , communication skills and general coldness.

Just a Starting Place
Overall, decent place to work. Great work life balance. However, it all depends on which hospital/facility you get placed in. Mine was slow moving so I had a lot of time on my hands. Advancement is hard. Knew someone working there for 4 years and still didn't move from the same position she was in.
