Dysfunctional
Former Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Santa Fe Springs, CAMarch 24, 2019
Unfortunately Tect Power is a dysfunctional company with a poor management at all levels, at the higher level is the worst because they should be the example for others.

There are some good employee working, but there are many more just making their money doing a terrible job everyday. There is no opportunity unless you are related to someone who is important in the company or you are doing favors by selling someone to management.

The company simply masks its problems to look organized and productive. They bad treat hourly employee and do everything for them to be at the worst possible level.
Pros
vacation time, sick day, 401k
Cons
Management and work enviroment.

Quality Assurance Engineer (Former Employee) –  Cleveland, OHFebruary 21, 2019
Days consisted of morning meetings for about 15 minutes when you first got in. Following the meetings routines checks around the plants and quota checks before beginning your day of work.

Long hours, little experience in the office
Quality Manager (Former Employee) –  Santa Fe Springs, CAFebruary 18, 2019
Workers on the floor are great and work hard. Office workers are inexperienced relying a lot on paid interns to make major decisions. Top management does not train but will yell a lot.
Pros
You will learn new technology for machining.
Cons
Work life balance is non-existent.

Issues with work/life balance are major. Which is what led to me leaving the company to seek employment else where. Advancement and job security are also contributing factors.

Disorganized & poorly managed
Manufacturing Engineer (Former Employee) –  Thomasville, GASeptember 24, 2018
The positive side of working here is that there are quite a few of opportunities for learning. There is a lot to do, and pay is always there.
There are good people to work with, unfortunately management is lacking, most managers pull in different directions. To make up from poor planning, management exploits salaried employees and expect them to do a lot of overtime without compensation. Working during weekends is mandated. Work environment is somewhat toxic, finger pointing and blaming others is the norm.
Overall, there is very little understanding on what is going on and most seems to be based on black magic. Machines and equipment are misused and not maintained. I do not recommend working here.
Pros
Some good co-workers, paid always on time.
Cons
Management, a lot of overtime without pay, chaotic.

It was very unorganized and management was poor. Some days it seemed as though no one was in charge that knew what they were doing. It was a constant change.

TECT Power is a good company towards their employees, the management is just terrible. Its a 24 hour company so a lot of overtime is required which mean time away from your family.

Operations Manager (Former Employee) –  Thomasville, GAJanuary 13, 2018
I would recommend for ambitious candidates. The management team is fair but demanding. The CEO was a very practical and personable individual. I ate lunch with him on multiple occasions. There were several VP's that I spent time with as well. Each was fair, honest and upfront. The company requires dedication and with that comes the need for longer hours.
Pros
Honest mgmt team
Cons
Very fast paced environment
