It’s an okay job if u want to work here for maybe a year or two but nothing long term. Managers help for the most part. The pto accumulates very slow,
Teleperformance contracts with several companies who need telemarketers or customer service representatives. I applied for a position as a Medicare sales agent for United Healthcare. After receiving my offer and computer equipment, I attended a tech onboarding meeting that was supposed to last no more than 4 hours. Not only did it last 8 hours, we were told to come back for several more days in order to get our equipment working. My first computer could not sign on and neither could my second, third or fourth. In the end, several of us who had recieved faulty or incorrect equipment were told that we would not be able to begin employment. This was right at the beginning of the busiest season for Medicare sales and we were all deprived of the opportunity to work due to the incompetence of Teleperformance's outsourced onboarding team and the fact that our stateside onboarding managers were alarmingly understaffed
For the longest time before this job, I have felt a weight on my shoulder. Once I started Teleperformance, this weight has been lifted off my shoulder. I work with great people on all different levels who help motivate each-other and help learn on a daily basis. I come to work happy each day because of the support around and the culture Teleperformance represents. I am excited to help others grow and teach and learn each day in my tasks. Teleperformance strides on creating a great atmosphere and culture and management is very engaging and not always behind doors. Management interacts with everyone on all levels and does not make you feel just like another person in a seat. The most enjoyable part of this job is learning different things daily working with others who have that same mentality.
I participated in the Greek team for FB in Lisbon. It was a good experience and I could work from home. They also gave me a nice apartment in Jardin Zoologico to share with others. Some get worse locations though.
What is the best part of working at the company? They provide all equipment, the pay and schedule. You always have the option to get as much as OT as you want. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The customers(LOL) What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I worked from home so it was perfect.
