The work itself wasn’t too taxing and it was quite easy to get in the swing of things. Also the pay was quite good compared to other jobs in the area. The real issues come from the use of overtime hours to essentially lure workers in with lower hour contracts and then essentially make the do full time with the contract hours + overtime hours.

I began working there when the store first opened. The 15 years i served for Tesco was good and i have many various memories mainly good of the years i spent there.

Managers are awful but colleagues are nice. Managers will call and text you for i overtime and won’t leave you alone until you agree. Apparently they don’t do this anymore though

Says it all to be honest. Miserable hours for average pay. Colleagues of same job title were fine but line manager was insufferable and manager hardly any better if at all.
