Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThis was my first job in the medical field. They supported me in advancing my skills and allowed me to work my way up the chain. I have worked as full time & part time from 2012 - 2018. It will always have a place in my heart.

Texan was a great company to work for until I closed its doors. I worked there until the very last night they were open. Everyone was so friendly and worked as a team!

Director of Marketing & Admissions/Front Office (Former Employee) - Amarillo, TX - October 30, 2015
I learned at this facility that I have a love for the elderly and that it is important to have a voice for them when they do not have a voice for themselves.

Very calm and productive environment
Social Services Director (Former Employee) - Gladewater, TX - July 19, 2015
I liked working there on a part time basis meeting the requirements in my department. I miss the co-workers who did more than just do their jobs. They did everything with caring and the residents as well as family members could feel what the staff were about. It was a very home like environment.
Pros
Good food at the facility, pleasant atmosphere
Cons
time restraints and amount of documentation

Nice job great staff
MDS Coordinator (Current Employee) - Amarillo, TX - May 27, 2012
I love this place the people are great, the corporate is not here and they do not seem to care about the residents or the staff, the residents and staff are a great bunch of people. I am trying to relocate to the graham, area to be closer to my family. That is the only reason Im trying to find a new job. I started out working on the alzheimers unit and was promoted to the mds job last august, I have learned so much here and hope to learn m;ore where ever I go to next.
Pros
the people
Cons
no benefits
