TAMUG is located on Pelican Island, which is a small island very close to Galveston Island. Everyday was by the sea. You could go out at anytime to enjoy the view. They had lots of activities for employees, including following the Texas Clipper training ship out to sea as a passenger on the pilot boat. I can't think of anything I could do to make it a better place to work.
