Best part of my job was I met visitors from around the world, taught them history in a fun and exciting way. I learned how to care for and help preserve collections in a house museum and provide the best customer service possible especially in difficult situations or with difficult people. Enjoyed organizing luncheons, outreaches, classes, and helping set up exhibits. Opening and closing procedures, money handling, providing tours to visitors, contacting volunteers, clerical duties were done on a daily basis.
