Texas Roadhouse is something else
Teas Roadhouse was my first serving job, and I have regretted it ever since. The type of work I had to do, was not equal to the pay. I would usually go home frustrated because I did not make enough money on a 12 HOUR shift.

Texas roadhouse was a very good place to work. They were very organized and had systems in place for everything. They provided a fun and positive work environment.

If the managers don't like you, it affects your scheduling and work environment. A few of the guy workers are creeps and won't leave you alone until someone new is hired. They tell hosts that they can be promoted to serving after a few months, but that's a lie. You're forced to get everything done and cannot leave until then, even if you weren't written down for that specific closing work. The hours and pay.... laughable and unlivable. Favoritism!!! So much favoritism. Coworkers try walking all over you for shift coverage yet won't cover yours. $2/hr plus tip share, which is ridiculous and practically working for free.

Overall a good place to work, a bit cheesy. You had to line dance at the top of the hour every hour, which was embarrassing. The managing partner was a bit creepy and definitely favored the girls... plenty of people at the chillicothe location would be able to explain why. But overall, was fun, lots of opportunities for advancement. Just needs better evaluations of who can operate a store.

This Texas Roadhouse was a very toxic place to work! Always drama and the managers always slept around. You aren’t paid well unless you’re a manager and this particular location always played favorites!
