Get rid of the "good ol boy" system. Regardless of who you are or what location you work, you matter. Not just Waco.

Treat your staff equally and don't assume the worst of your employee and students. I believed I was an instructor to help the students succeed and not set them up for failure. Micro-managing was very unprofessional and makes employees uncomfortable and stressed.
