Less emphasis on the volume of stuff being put out on the floor and more emphasis on how that stuff is presented. The housewares/toys/etc side of the store (Windsor Park) looks trashed 90% of the time, mostly because the employees are given very little time to actually condition and make attractive displays. The shelves are dirty and disorganized and no one has time to actually create an attractive store.

There is a problem with customers removing price tags and breaking into "goodie bags" - this problem could be partially alleviated by having more staff actually on the sales floor, maintaining the stock but also keeping an eye on customers.

Management and their poor communication - forgetful about time-off requests, constant emphasis on quotas even though they're always met and usually exceeded.

RIDICULOUS employee discount policy - employees are not allowed to shop in the store except for two Saturday mornings a month (coincidentally, the days after pay days) and then, the discount is only 30%. The sales for regular shoppers are better. THEN, duplicates of your receipts are kept by the store along with a record of how much you spent.

Also, production is physically very demanding - long hours on my feet, lots of reaching and manipulating with hands, hunching over a table for pricing.

They hire anybody and you don't even get interviewed. All they do is call you, you show up, and then they tell you what to do and if you don't wanna do it then just don't come after that day.
