I went for an interview they wanted some one that knew about naval aviation operations I spending 21 years in the navy 18 years in aviation and three years doing recruiting four years as a squadron flight deck coordinator in my last squadron. For the first launch of the day we had two aircraft manned and ready to go if the primary aircraft went down the second aircraft would launch. If one aircraft was manned and that went down we would change aircraft with the same crew. Out of a panel interview three in person and two on the phone. We don't have a spare, is what one of them said. What do you do then I said you work till you get your only aircraft up. Before the interview the leader of the panel gave me a spill of what they do and the number of aircraft they had navy P3C aircraft 9 in Corpus Christi and 9 in Pensacola, Fl. The answer I wanted to give was this but I kept quite Ok nine aircraft your go aircraft goes down you cant get up in ten or fifteen minutes, what happen to the other eight oh you have a rob aircraft that's the plane that you take parts out of after you order the parts and it going to take more than a day for supply to deliver the badly needed parts that you need. You may have one that down besides the hanger queen that still gives you six aircraft one to use as a spare aircraft.

I was asked basic questions when hired about what kind of experience I had and my goals. When moving up to engineering, I was asked basic engineering questions such as forces, 3D modeling, and overall questions to see if I knew about engineering.
