Disorganized HR Department
Leasing Consultant (Former Employee) - Indianapolis, IN - September 15, 2023
This company is highly disorganized. They fail to properly do their research during the interview and hiring process. It's common knowledge in the industry to avoid this company. They've taken over properties I've worked at before, and they have no idea what they're doing - it's all cosmetics. The directors are very manipulative and demeaning as well. I would avoid this company at all costs.

My manager has always been supportive of my capabilities. She always brings out the best in whatever I do. We are treated as a family in the company as it values camaraderie and respect. Our efforts are always acknowledged. We are always motivated which is why we love showing up at work.

Fulfilling and Rewarding on Every Level!

I love working at BAM!! Working for BAM is honestly the most fulfilling and rewarding experience. I learn so much from the Director of Property Management she is INCREDIBLE! Mu proposals are taken seriously, collaboration is amazing I cannot say anything but great things as this is honestly the best company I have EVER worked for! BAM is family and a company that only knows success and that has a lot to do with BAM’s company culture!

Working for BAM has been the best professional opportunity of my life. The work environment is positive and encouraging. You are provided with all of the tools and know how to complete your daily tasks at the highest level. All employees are treated with respect. Great fun positive uplifting work environment. BAM is like no other company I have ever worked. We are innovators, we tossed the box. We focus on employee satisfaction which will in turn lead to resident satisfaction. We are movers and shakers and we are growing so opportunities abound. BAM bennies are also very generous (we only have more holidays than the federal government + a personal day). We do work hard and play harder.

I've not worked here as long as some of my peers, but I can already understand why people love it. Each day is a new challenge, and I have the tools I need to succeed. Things can be difficult, and there is a lot expected of me at times, but if the work gets done I know that my effort is not in vain. It all has a purpose and a reason. I learn from leadership constantly and enjoy the work I'm doing, because they appreciate the work I produce.
The culture is unique and can't be found elsewhere. I highly recommend joining this company and seeing for yourself why so many employees love it so much!

From day one I have had multiple resources at my finger tips to allow me to succeed at my job. I have never felt guilty for asking questions or adjusting a mistake. Leadership actually leads from example and allows you to do your job without micromanaging. They are also understanding of life events that can happen and are flexible. The overall culture in the office is priceless and is everything you could ask for.

Do not recommend if you want a company that truly values it's employees

Makes you feel welcome until you do something wrong. If you aren't friends with someone in corporate then you aren't valued. Very little to no on the job training. HR turns their back if its anything to do with management. If you have a problem with management be prepared for all of corporate and management to know and gossip about it. Very unprofessional. Definitely will drive you to quit if they don't like you.
