Great oportunity to make a lot of money,
High end sales (Former Employee) –  Pittsburgh PaJanuary 17, 2019
Fantastic company to work for. Unfortunately, I had an unethical, and controlling manager who ruined my time at the Blue Book.
There are huge bonus checks you can achieve by putting in hard work everyday. The President, Sales Manager, are all very accessible, and willing to help with anything. You make your schedule for your work week, and do what you were trained to do. The training lasted two weeks, and was fantastic.
Pros
Great earning potential
Cons
Unethical, controlling manager in my territory.

Public Project Specialist (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJuly 2, 2018
As long as you make your numbers, everything will work out in the end.

Until it doesn't.

As management got deeper and deeper in the analytics wormhole, they started making some odd decisions.

Good place to work, good people, but may be heading in a rough direction.

Business Dev. Manager (Current Employee) –  Cincinnati, OHDecember 4, 2017
Horrible unsteady management with very little to no culture. Pay was changed 3 times in 2 years. Horrible name in the Industry. They believe they can compete with the Big Boys and they are light years away!

Lack of Direction
Professional Services Consultant (Current Employee) –  Jefferson Valley, NYOctober 22, 2017
The Blue Book decides to restructure each year and causes turmoil each time with no results. Not a long term career business. When they offer you a position, they sugar coat what the company is like, but the truth comes out after being with them for more than six months.

Area General Manager, Greater Houston Area (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXOctober 10, 2017
This was a good company at one time. When it became an ESOP
it went downhill with the President demanding unrealistic results
to cover that payment for the ESOP. There was a lot of nepotism.
A lot of favoritism.

Crumbing cookie
anonymous (Current Employee) –  Jefferson Valley, NYJuly 29, 2017
The company has been going down hill for the last few years. upper Management is making it more difficult to make ends meat. Heath benefits have gone up almost to the point that you cant afford your portion of it. If you get a raise the health benefits take that raise away and then some. The rules change from day to day as what is expected from you. It use to be a fun and family place to work not anymore.
Pros
half day fridays during the summer
Cons
cut throat

Hit the numbers you can make good money. Upper management needs to spend time in the field. They still think people are banging on the doors wanting to advertise.

Tough place to work
Regional Business Development Consultant (Former Employee) –  West CoastApril 8, 2015
Typically you are micro-managed from afar by your Regional Manager. I learned a lot about the industry as I knew zero before I took the position. Upper management is a joke, they need changes but they keep putting the same old managers in different roles and nothing ever changes. Hardest part of the job is selling a dinosaur of a product, but it is nice to get a few weeks off at the end of the year.
Pros
Time off in December & bonuses (if you attain them)
Cons
Base salary, upper management & travel

ACCOUNT MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Pompano, Fl out of my homeNovember 25, 2012
From the Owner of the Company, right on down the Management line, everyone is well educated and extremely helpful and treat you like family.
Co-workers were a pleasure to work with. The hardest decision I've ever made was to leave, but due to the generosity of the management, I was able to start my own business.
