Our core values are extremely important. Identifying and defining them is the first step in consciously using these values to influence our outcomes. Our shared values build trust and bind The Center for Children and Families’ “family” together. These same values are also a way to identify our organization within the larger community.
Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Computers, said, “Find people who are confident and really bright, but more importantly, find people who really care about the same things that you care about.” We certainly believe in the wisdom of that quote here at The Center for Children and Families. Our staff is hired not just because they are competent, but also because we believe they possess the core values we consider to be the basis of our organization.
