Fun place that promoted collaboration and teamwork
BUSSER (Former Employee) –  Pepper Pike, OHSeptember 14, 2018
The typical work days were 5-10pm,sometimes employees could work double shifts and work in the morning . This was a good starting job to teach teamwork, and how to handle stressful situations. The management was excellent and cared about the employees.
Pros
Employee meal every day in the morning and evening

Professional Golf Caddie (Former Employee) –  Brookline, MASeptember 2, 2018
The Country Club in Brookline, MA is one of the most esteemed and historic golf clubs in the country. It was a pleasure working there and the only reason I left was due to extenuating circumstances that occurred outside of the workplace environment.

Lifeguarding is the perfect summer job in high school and college. There are lots of other little jobs to take advantage of like coaching swimming, water polo and diving.

Cook (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVJuly 9, 2018
the managers did not make it a nice work space but was manageable. Although I would not suggest making a career out of it and move on from it making it a temporary situation.

Management is superb!
Lifeguard (Seasonal) (Current Employee) –  Brookline, MAMay 30, 2018
The management at TCC clearly cares about the staff. It's the fourth country club I've worked at and by far the most elite. All three others treated employees terribly. TCC understands the value in the human workforce.
Pros
Free meals, free parking, free transport to MBTA, ultimate hospitality training
Cons
weekend work required (depends on job / department)

Child Care Provider/Babysitter (Former Employee) –  Monument, COMay 22, 2018
It was a great place for a high school kid to get some job experience, and a great place to get connections for babysitting. There are also a lot of people who are members there so you are able to make connections in the work force as well.

Meh
Brookline, Trainer and Curling Professional (Current Employee) –  Brookline, MAMarch 7, 2018
The jobs are easy. What killed the whole experience is the lack of motivation in professional development. Golf pros, tennis pro, and even the curling pros are not sent out to receive certification in yoga training, physical training nor to become personal trainers. If the club has a fitness center/yoga studio, wouldn't the club members be better off if the actual golf pro you see on the course everyday in the summer, be helping you in the fitness center as well? Same thing with curling, wouldn't you benefit greatly if your curling pro was also a certified yoga instructor?

Busser/Dishwasher (Former Employee) –  San Jacinto, CAAugust 26, 2017
the people there are great but the pay doesn't equate to much unless your there on major event nights. The food is fantastic worth every penny and the chefs try to let all staff try the specials of the night because you can't recommend food you haven't tried yourself.

country club work place
ValetDriver/ Set Up Crew (Current Employee) –  Pepper Pike, OHMarch 27, 2017
This is a great place to work because you have a chance to meet a lot of important people like doctors lawyers and business men/women. we would start the day and clean up the work area and if a member need anything we will serve them. also we would provide them a caddy. The hardest part of the job was just dealing with the attitudes of the members.
