The acquisition of the HCI Group by its current parent company, has led to less than a smooth transition with policies and personnel changing on a frequent basis over the last several years. Operation and Sales resources are spread thin causing a negative domino effect in terms of efficiency and optimum productivity throughout the organization. You are left to your own devices to teach yourself many aspects of your job, related to constantly changing services, management infrastructure, policies and procedures. There is a heavy influence from the CEO to pursue opportunities ad hoc, and at his discretion, despite qualification of opportunities. There are both pros and cons to working for this company; however, the very high turnover for a multitude of reasons is strong evidence of job satisfaction here.
