Cool and interesting to work here
It was very cool working here. The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village are pretty awesome to visit, so I enjoyed my time working there as well. Especially cool job if you enjoy learning and history.

The respect given to each employee
This is a very nice place to work With my job role there was limited opportunity for advancement and the pay did not match the work and demands of the job role held. They were wonderful and kind people who welcomed the physically and mentally challenged and all were treated with respect and kindness.

It's a fun place to work with great coworkers.
Because it is a nonprofit they limit the number of hours ppl can work so they don't have to pay benefits which makes it hard to get and keep good employees. It's a fun place to work with lots of perks and good benefits if you're lucky enough to get into management. HR not so good or friendly. The rules seem to apply differently for different ppl. You have to pick your vacation times a year in advance. There is no "directory" of other departments/ phone numbers. You only know the ppl within your department which makes it hard to connect as an organization. You're on an island feeling.

Productive and Fun place to work
I worked at the Henry Ford for a few summers in the village. It’s a great summer job and and I would recommend it to anyone looking for work after highschool.

Not too bad
It's a non-profit so they generally say you're there for the environment not the pay. With any banquet job you're waiting on the events to be booked. Generally during the slow season we get barely any work.
